| 197. The Commissioner or any officer authorized in that behalf shall, within the limits of a Pradeshiya Sabha area have the same powers and authority required for the due exercise and discharge of their respective powers and functions as officers of the Pradeshiya Sabha: Provided that the Commissioner or authorized officer shall in the exercise and discharge of their powers and functions under this section, act in consultation with the Chairman of that Pradeshlya Sabha. |
