Pradeshiya Sabhas Act (No. 15 of 1987) - Sect 224

Transitions provision

224. A member of the First Parliament deemed be elected for an electoral district composed within the limits of a Pradeshiya Sabha, may attend and address meetings of such Sabha but shall not be entitled to vote on any matter coming up for decision thereat.
