2. Section 4 of the Resthouses Act is hereby amended as follows :-
| (1) in subsection (1) of that section, by the substitution, for the words " appropriate authority ", of the words " appropriate authority, not being the Director of the Government Tourist Bureau," ; and |

| (2) by the insertion, immediately after subsection (2) of that section, of the following sub section :-
| | " (2A) Where the appropriate authority in whom the control of any resthouse is vested is the Director of the Government Tourist Bureau, the Minister for the time being in charge of the subject of tourism may, in respect of that resthouse, make such rules as may appear expedient to him relating to the matters for which rules may be made under subsection (1) of this section. Such rules shall come into force on publication in the Gazette.". | | |
