4. Section 6 of the principal enactment is hereby amended as follows :
| (1) by the renumbering of that section as subsection (1) of that section; and |

| (2) by the insertion, immediately after the renumbered subsection (1), of the following new subsection :

" (2) Any instrument of conveyance, transfer or assignment executed by the Bishop of Kandy in favour of the Bishop of Badulla of all the property movable or immovable which by reason of the creation of the Diocese of Badulla becomes subject to the administration of the Bishop of Badulla, shall be deemed to be an instrument chargeable under Part I, item 23 (7) of Schedule A to the Stamp Ordinance.". | | |
