| 22. Every person guilty of an offence under this Act shall on conviction after summary trial before a Magistrate be liable to a fine of not less than two thousand five hundred rupees and not more than five thousand rupees or to imprisonment of either description for a term not exceeding six months ; and in the case of a second or sub sequent offence be liable to a fine of not less than five thousand rupees and not more than ten thousand rupees or to imprisonment of either description for a term not exceeding twelve months. |
