2. Section 2 of the Registration of Persons Act, No. 32 of 1968, hereinafter referred, to as the " principal Act ", is hereby amended as follows: -
| (1) in. paragraph (c) of sub-section (1) of that section, by the substitution, for the words and figures " section 15 of that Act, ", of the words and figures " section 15 of that Act; or; |

| (2) by the addition, immediately after paragraph (c) of sub-section (1) of that section, of the following new paragraph: -
| | " (d) who is liable to removal to India from Ceylon under section 15 of the Indo-Ceylon Agreement (Implementation) Act, No. 14 of 1967, "; | | |
|
|
| (3) in paragraph (b) of sub-section (2) of that section, by the substitution, for the words and, figures " section 2 (1) of that Act. " of the words and figures " section 2 (1) of that Act; or "; and |
|
| (4) by the addition, immediately after paragraph (b) of sub-section (2) of that section, of the following new paragraph: -
| | " (c) a person, who is the holder of a valid residence permit issued under the Indo- Ceylon Agreement (Implementation) Act, No. 14 of 1967.". | | |
