8. Section 46 of the principal Act is hereby amended by the addition, immediately after subsection (2) of that section, of the following new subsection: -
| " (3) The provisions of this Act shall be without prejudice to the operation of the Indo-Ceylon Agreement (Implementation) Act, No. 14 of 1967, and accordingly the fact that a person has applied for registration or is registered in the Register of Persons or is the holder of an identity card shall not in any way affect the liability of that person for removal to India from Ceylon under section 15 of that Act, ". |
