| 4 . Every person holding office as a member of the board on the day immediately preceding the date of commencement of the Act, by virtue of the provisions of subsection (1) of section 3 of the principal enactment shall, notwithstanding anything in the principal enactment cease to hold office on the date of commencement of this Act. |
