(1) Every registered surveyor who is desirous of practicing or attempting or professing to practise land surveying, shall apply to the Council for an Annual Practicing licence; |

(2) The Council may on application received in that behalf by a registered surveyor accompanied by the prescribed fee. issue to such surveyor an Annual Practicing Licence where the Council is satisfied that he has followed the prescribed courses of study and training approved by the Council and acquired knowledge and skill to practise land surveying. |

(3) Notwithstanding the provisions of subsection (1), every registered surveyor who is engaged in land surveying on the dale of commencement of this Act may. Continue to practice land surveying for a period of six months from such dale but shall within such period apply for the Annual Practicing Licence under this Act. |

(4) Every registered surveyor issued with an Annual Practicing Licence under subsection (2) is referred to in this Act as a "registered licensed surveyor". |
