8. Section 19 of the principal Act is hereby amended, in subsection (1) of that section, as follows : -
| (1) by the substitution, in the second proviso to paragraph (a) of that subsection, for the words " Income Tax Ordinance", of the following : - " Income Tax Ordinance or the Inland Revenue Act, No. 4 of 1963," ; and |

| (2) by the substitution, for paragraph (c) of that subsection, of the following new paragraph : -
| | " (c) If on any date the employer terminates the employment of any employee or any employee terminates his employment, the employer shall, before the expiry of the second working day after that date, pay the remuneration due to that employee.". | | |
