(1) Every member of the Board or of a committee thereof, and every officer of the Corporation shall, before entering upon his duties, sign a declaration pledging himself to observe strict secrecy respecting all matters connected with the working, of the Corporation and shall by suet declaration pledge himself not to reveal any information, which may come to his knowledge in the performance of his duties or the discharge of his functions, except"
| | (a) in order to comply with any provision of this Act or any other written law ; or | | |
| | (b) in the performance of his duties or the discharge of his functions, under this Act. | | |

(2) Nothing in the preceding provisions of this section shall be read and construed as authorizing a member of the Board or an officer of the Corporation to reveal any information or to do any Act, in contravention of the rights conferred on any person, by, or under, the Code of Intellectual Property Act, No. 52 of 1979. |
