14.
| (1) No person who is the recipient of a loan from a specified bank under this Act shall ,so long as any sum of money in respect of such loan remains due from him in the said bank, leave Sri Lanka : |

| (2) Any person who contravenes the provisions of subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence under this Act and shall, upon conviction by a Magistrate, be liable to a fine not exceeding one thousand rupees or to a term of imprisonment not exceeding six, months nr to both such fine and imprisonment. |
|
| (3) The provisions of this section shall be in addition to, and not in derogation of, the provisions of any other written law, relating to persons leaving Sri Lanka. |
