Securities Exchange Of Sri Lanka (Amendment) Act (No. 18 of 2003) - Sect 29

Amendment of section 31 I of the principal enactment

29. Section 31 I of the principal enactment is hereby repealed and the fol1owing section is substituted therefor :
31 I. No person shall issue or publish or cause to be issued or published an explanatory memorandum or advertisement inviting the public to invest in units of a unit trust, unless such person has been licensed as a managing company of such unit trust and has obtained prior approval of the Commission for the contents of such explanatory memorandum or advertisement and for its issue or publication.".
