Stamp (Amendment) Law (No. 21 of 1973) - Sect 5

Replacement of motion 41 of the principal enactment

5. Section 41 of the principal enactment, as amended by Act No. 16 of 1958, is hereby repealed and the following new section substituted therefor: -
41. No instrument chargeable with duty shall be admitted in evidence for any purpose by any person having by law or consent of parties authority to receive evidence, or shall be acted upon, registered, or authenticated by any such person or by any state officer, unless such instrument is duly stamped:
