| (1) Subject to the provisions of subsection (2), every member of the Foundation, including the Chair-man, shall hold and vacate his office in accordance with the terms of his appointment, but he may resign his office by letter addressed to the Prime Minister. He shall, on ceasing to be a member, be eligible for reappointment. |

| (2) All the members of the Foundation, including the Chairman, shall be deemed to have vacated office upon the Prime Minister ceasing to hold office as Prime Minister, and accordingly the succeeding Prime Minister shall appoint members to fill the vacancies created. |
