Sri Lanka Library Association (Incorporation) Law (No. 20 of 1974) - Sect 11

Rules

11.
(1) It shall be lawful for the Corporation, from time to time, at any general meeting and by the majority vote of the members present and voting, and with the prior approval. of two-thirds of the members of the Council voting at a meeting of such Council, to make rules for the management of the affairs of the Corporation and the accomplishment of its objects. Such rules when made may in like manner be altered, added to, amended or rescinded.
(2) Pending the making of rules by the Corporation, the regulations made by the association and in force on the date this Law comes into operation shall for all purposes be deemed to be rules made by the Corporation and shall continue in force and may be amended, altered, added to or rescinded by rules made under this Law.
