Sri Lanka Ports Authority Act (No. 51 of 1979) - Sect 65

Chairman to sanction prosecution and who may conduct prosecutions

65.
(1) A prosecution for any offence under this Act or any regulation or rule made thereunder shall not be instituted in any court, except with the written sanction of the Chairman of the Ports Authority or by an officer authorised by him in writing.
(2) Any employee of the Ports Authority authorised in that behalf by the Authority may conduct such prosecution on behalf of the Authority.
