Sri Lanka State Trading Corporations (Amendment) Act (No. 67 of 1981) - Sect 2

Insertion of new section 2A in Act No 33 of 1970

2. The following new section is hereby inserted immediately after section 2 of the Sri Lanka State Trading Corporations Act (hereinafter referred to as the " principal enactment" ) and shall have effect as section 2A of the principal enactment:"
2A. Notwithstanding anything in section 2 of this Act, any Corporation established under this Act may engage in or carry out any business or trade or any commercial activity as may be approved by the Cabinet of Ministers. ".
