Surcharge On Income Tax Act (No. 32 of 1992) - Sect 4

Amendment of section 3 of the principal enactment

4. Section 3 of the principal enactment is hereby amended as follows:
(1) in paragraph (ii) of that section, by the substitution, for the words and figures "relevant year commencing on April 1, 1990 ; and of the words and figure " relevant year commencing on April 1, 1990 ; "
(2) in paragraph (iii) of that section, by the substitution, for the words and figures "relevant year commencing on April 1, 1991." of the words and figures " relevant year commencing on April 1, 1991 ; and " ; and
(3) by the addition, immediately after paragraph (iii) of that section, of the following paragraph:
(iv)
(a) not less than fifty per centum,, on or before August 15, 1992 ; and
(b) the balance, on or before November 15, 1992, of the amount of the surcharge payable by him for the relevant year commencing on April 1. 1992. ".
