3. The general objects for which the Corporation is constituted are hereby declared to be -
| (a) to assist in and the maintenance and development of the Sri Subodharama temple at Iriyagama, Peradeniya ; |
|
| (b) to establish a centre (for training of bhikkus and to administer, maintain and develop the centre; |
|
| (c) to foster the study, and propagation, of the Buddha Dharma ; |
|
| (d) to train laymen to lead a Buddhist way of life; and |
|
| (e) to establish friendly relations with other Buddhist organizations in Sri Lanka and abroad. |
