S. W. R. D. Bandaranaike National Memorial Foundation (Amendment) Act (No. 48 of 1981) - Sect 2

Members of the Board of Management of the S. W- R. D. Bandaranaike National Memorial Foundation holding office on the day preceding the date of commencement of Act No. 48 of 1981 to cease to hold such office on the date of commencement of Act No. 48 of 1981

2. Every person holding office as a member of the Board of Management of the S. W. R. D. Bandaranaike National Memorial Foundation (established by the S. W. R. D. Bandaranaike National Memorial Foundation Law) (hereinafter sometimes referred to as " the principal enactment ") on the day immediately preceding the date of commencement of Act No. 48 of 1981, whether such person holds such office by virtue of"
(a) the provisions of paragraph (a), or paragraph (b), or paragraph (c), or paragraph (d), or paragraph (e) of subsection (1) of section 3 of the S. W. R. D. Bandaranaike National Memorial Foundation Law; or
(b) an appointment made under paragraph (f) of subsection (1) of section 3 of the aforesaid Law, shall, notwithstanding anything in the aforesaid Law, cease to hold office on the date of commencement of Act No, 48 of 1981.
