| (1) It shall be lawful for the Corporation, from time to time, at any general meeting of the members and by the votes of not less than two thirds of the members present and entitled to vote, to make such rules, as are not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, or any other written law, for the management of the affairs of the Corporation and accomplishment of its objects. Such rules when made, may at a like meeting and in like manner, be altered, added to and amended or rescinded. |

| (2) The rules of the College of Ophthalmologists of Sri Lanka in force on the day preceding the date of the commencement of this Act, shall be deemed to be the rules of the Corporation made under this section in so far as they are not inconsistent with this Act or any other written law. |

| (3) The members of the Corporation shall be subject to the rules of the Corporation. |
