The appropriate authority may call upon any person to whom a loan has been or is granted by that authority to satisfy that authority that the loan has been or is being applied to the purpose for which it has been or is granted, and the person so called upon may adduce evidence before the appropriate authority or any officer authorized by that authority to take such evidence to prove that the loan has been or is being applied for such purpose |
