| (1) The Minister may, by notification published in the Gazette, amend the Schedule to this Act, and on any such notification coming into force, that Schedule shall be deemed to be amended accordingly. No such notification shall come into force until it has been approved by the House of Representatives nor until notification of such approval has been published in the Gazette. |

| (2) Every notification approved under sub-section (1) shall, upon publication of such approval in the Gazette, be deemed, for all purposes, to be as valid and effectual as though it were in an Act for the amendment of this Act |
