| (1)The provisions of sections 3 and 4 of the Adoption
of Children Ordinance shall apply in respect of an adoption
under this Part of this Act, provided that in the case of a child
under ten years of age, no adoption order shall be made
without the consent of the Authority.

| (2) In satisfying itself as regards the matters set out in paragraph (b) of section 4 of the Adoption of Children Ordinance, the Court shall, where the adoption application is made by the foster parent of the child concerned, take into consideration She reports submitted by the Monitoring Officer relating to such child during the period of foster care. |
