| (1) The Corporation shall be able and capable in law to acquire and hold, either as beneficial owner or as trustee or otherwise, any property, movable or immovable, which may become vested in it by virtue of any instrument of purchase, grant or lease or by virtue of any testamentary disposition or otherwise. |

| (2) The Corporation shall have the power, from time to time, to mortgage, sell, grant, convey, devise, assign, exchange or otherwise dispose of any such property and to invest its funds in such manner as may be necessary or expedient as directed by the Council for the furtherance of its objects. |
