Turnover Tax Act (No. 69 of 1981) - Sect 2

Imposition of turnover tax

2. Subject to the other provisions of this Act there shall be charged for the period November 13, 1981 to December 31, 1981 and for every quarter commencing on or after January 1, 1982 from every per on who-
(a) carries on any business in Sri Lanka; or
(b) renders services outside Sri Lanka for which payment is made from Sri Lanka,
