| 41. Section 74 of the principal enactment is hereby amended Amendment by the substitution, for the words "such appointment relates" of the following :- "such appointment relates: Provided that, where an employee who is in the service of the Commission or of a Higher Educational Institution and who has been confirmed in his appointment, is appointed to the post of Registrar, Secretary, Bursar or Treasurer, as the case may be, of a Higher Educational Institution, other than under the provisions of sections 66A and 144 such' appointment shall in the first instance, be an acting appointment for a period of one year, and shall thereafter be subject to confirmation by the governing authority of the Higher Educational Institution." . |
