(1) An appointed member may resign his office by
letter addressed to the President and such resignation shall
be effective from the date on which it is accepted by the
President. |

(2) The President may for reasons assigned, remove an
appointed member from office.

(3) Where an appointed member dies, resigns or is
removed from office the President shall, having regard to the
provisions of section 4, appoint another member in his place.
|
|
(4) A member appointed under subsection (3) shall hold
office for the unexpired period of the term of office of the
member whom he succeeds.
