| (1) An appointed member may resign his office by
letter addressed to the President and such resignation shall
be effective from the date on which it is accepted by the
President. |

| (2) The President may for reasons assigned, remove an
appointed member from office.
|
|
| (3) Where an appointed member dies, resigns or is
removed from office the President shall, having regard to the
provisions of section 4, appoint another member in his place.
|
|
| (4) A member appointed under subsection (3) shall hold
office for the unexpired period of the term of office of the
member whom he succeeds.
