| 10. The term of office of a Village Council to be constituted for any village area under this Ordinance shall commence on such date as the Minister1 may appoint by Order published in the Gazette. Such date shall be deemed to be the date of the constitution of the Council for all the purposes of this Ordinance, and the Council shall be deemed to be duly constituted on that date notwithstanding that a member has not been elected for any ward of that area. |
