Village Councils Law (No. 6 of 1964) - Sect 2

Application of Ordinance to divisional revenue officers' divisions. [ 4, 60 of 1938.]

2.
(1) It shall be lawful for the Minister by Order published in the Gazette, to declare that any divisional revenue officer's division or any part thereof shall, from a date to be named therein, be brought within the operation of this Ordinance.
(2) On such Order1 being published as aforesaid, such division or part thereof shall, from the said date, be within the operation of this Ordinance.
