54A. Where the Minister is of opinion that a local authority should be constituted for an area which is or includes a village area or a part of a village area, he may, by Order published in the Gazette, dissolve the Village Council of that village area and direct any public officer to administer the affairs of that village area for such period as may be specified in the Order. * For provision validating certain acts done without legal authority.-See section 5 of Act No. 2 of 1957. |
