| (1) The Chairman or the Vice-Chairman of the Authority may resign from the office of Chairman or Vice-Chairman, as the case may be, by letter to that effect addressed to the Minister, and such resignation shall take effect upon it being accepted by the Minister. |

| (2)The Minister may, it he thinks it expedient to do so, remove the Chairman or the Vice-Chairman from the office of Chairman or Vice-Chairman without assigning any reasons therefor. |

| (3) Subject to the provisions of subsections (1) and (2), the term of office of the Chairman and the Vice-Chairman shall be their period of membership of the Authority. |
