3. The general objects for which the Corporation is constituted are hereby declared to be"
| (a) to protect and maintain the Buddha Sasana and to provide facilities for the propagation of Buddhism ; |

| (b) to encourage members to live according to Buddhist principles ; |
|
| (c) to promote unity amongst the Buddhist for the advancement of the Buddhist activities ; |
|
| (d) to take necessary steps for the protection and advancement of the moral, cultural, educational and physical welfare of society ; |
|
| (e) to make arrangements to provide vocational training and guidance, and financial assistance, to persons in need of such training and assistance ; |
|
| (f) to provide facilities to promote the knowledge of the Dhamma ; and |
|
| (g) to construct, equip and maintain a centre for the upholding of Buddhist religious principles and precepts, |
