3. The general objects for which the Corporation is instituted are hereby declared to be"
| (a) to establish and maintain Buddhist Centres ; |

| (b) to assist in the safeguarding both Buddhism and the privileges enjoyed by Buddhists; |
|
| (c) to strive towards the economic, social and cultural upliftment of Buddhists ; |
|
| (d) to carry out and promote social service activities, in accordance with Buddhist principles ; |
|
| (e) to encourage sports activities among members and to provide facilities for that purpose ; |
|
| (f) to assist in the dissemination of the Dhamma through the media ; and |
|
| (g) to do such other things as may be necessary for, or incidental to, the attainment of all or any of the aforesaid objects |
