BISHOP OF GOZO (EXTENSION OF PRIVILEGES)
To make provision for removing certain doubts arisen in consequence of the separation of the islands of Gozo and Comino from the diocese of Malta and to make other provisions in connection therewith.

Enacted by ORDINANCE VIII of 1865, as amended by Legal Notice 46 of 1965; and Acts XXIV of 1975 and I of 1995.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Bishop of Gozo
(Extension of Privileges) Ordinance.
Original sections 2, 3 and 4 were repealed by Act I of 1995.
2.† The office in the Island of Gozo of Provicar of the Archbishop of Malta having ceased, in any case, in which, for the election o f any marriage legaci es founded fo r that Island, the interv en tion of th e said Pr ovicar w as r equir ed accor ding to t he fou ndat i ons or accord ing to any law, the Vi car General of the Bishop of Gozo, or another ecclesiastic who shall for the purpose be deputed by the said Bishop, shall intervene instead of the said Provicar.
