Mutual Recognition of Qualifications of Legal Profession
(Amendment) Regulations, 2008
IN exercise of the powers conferred by articles 81A and 87A of the Code of Oganization and Civil Procedure, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice and Home Affairs has made the following regulations>
1. The title of these regulations is the Mutual Recognition of Qualifications of Legal Profession (Amendment) Regulations, 2008 and they shall be read and construed as one with the Mutual Recognition of Qualifications of Legal Profession Regulations, 2002, hereinafter in these regulations referred to as “the principal regulations”.
2. In regulation 2 of the principal regulations, in the definition “relevant professional title”, for the words “in Malta.” there shall be substituted the words “in Malta as shown in the Schedule to these regulations.”.
3. Immediately at the end of regulation 12 of the principal regulations, there shall be added the following schedule>
