CODE OF ORGANIZATION AND CIVIL PROCEDURE (CAP. 12)
The Civil Courts (Establishment of Sections) (Amendment) Order, 2004
IN virtue of the powers conferred by article 2 of the Code of Organization and Civil Procedure, the President of Malta has made the
following Order>
Citation and commencement.
Amendment of article 3
of the principal
Order.
Amendment of article 6
of the principal
Order.
1. (1) This order may be cited as the Civil Courts (Establishment of Sections) (Amendment) Order, 2004, and it shall be read and
construed as one with The Civil Courts (Establishment of Sections) Order, 2003, hereinafter referred to as “the principal order”.
(2) This Order shall be deemed to have come into force on the 16th December, 2003.
2. For the words “the General Jurisdiction Section” in article 3 of the principal Order, there shall be substituted the words
“a general jurisdiction section to be styled the First Hall of the Civil Court”.
3. For the words “Civil Court (General Jurisdiction Section)” in article 6 of the principal Order and in the marginal note
thereto, there shall be substituted the words “First Hall of the Civil Court”.
