Commencement Notice of the Deliberate Release
into the Environment of Genetically Modified Organisms
Regulations, 2002
BY virtue of the powers conferred on him by article 9 of the Environment Protection Act, and in terms of regulation 1 of the Deliberate Release into the Environment of Genetically Modified Organisms Regulations, 2002, as published by Legal Notice 170 of
2002, the Minister for Rural Affairs and the Environment has
established the 1st March, 2004 as the date when the said regulations shall come into force.
