Environment Protection Act (Cap. 435) Product Safety Act (Cap. 427) Commencement Notice Of The Waste Management (Packaging And Packaging Waste) Regulations, 2006 (L.N. 38 Of 2007 )

BY virtue of the powers conferred by article 9 of the Environment Protection Act, by article 38 of the Product Safety Act, and in terms of regulation 1(2) of the Waste Management (Packaging and Packaging Waste) Regulations, 2006, as published by Legal Notice 277 of 2006, the Minister for Rural Affairs and the Environment and the Minister for Competitiveness and Communications have established the 1st of March, 2007 as the date when the said regulations shall come into force.
