FEES ORDINANCE (CAP. 35)Fees (Radiocommunications) (Amendment)(No.2) Regulations, 2010

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 2 of the Fees Ordinance, the Minister for Infrastructure, Transport and Communications with the concurrence of the Minister of Finance, the Economy and Investment, has made the following regulations -

1. ( 1 ) T h e s e r e g u l a t i o n s m a y b e c i t e d a s t h e F e e s

(Radiocommunications) (Amendment) (No.2) Regulations,

2010 and shall be read and construed as one with the Fees (Radiocommunications) Regulations, 1995 hereinafter referred to as “the principal regulations”.

(2) These regulations shall be deemed to have come into force on the 2nd November, 2009.

(3) Notwithstanding the commencement provisions in regulation 1(2) of the Fees (Radiocommunicaitons) (Amendment) Regulations 2010, the said regulations are being hereby revoked and they shall be deemed to have nerver come into force.

2. Section II of the Schedule to the principal regulations shall be amended as follows:

Amends Section II of the Schedule to the principal regulations.

(1) in item 7 thereof sub-item (a)(iii) shall be

(6) Item 19 thereof shall be renumbered as item 17, and as renumbered shall be amended as follows:
(i) sub-item (a) thereof shall be substituted with the following:
“(a) assistive listening devices ..................................................... No charge”; (ii) sub-item (d) thereof shall be substituted with the following:
“(d) any apparatus not otherwise stipulated in these regulations, power up to 10 milliwatts e.i.r.p., having an integral
antenna .................................................................................................. No charge”;
(7) Item 25 thereof shall be deleted and items 20 to 46 shall be renumbered as items 18 to 43;
(8) In item 27 thereof as renumbered sub-items (f) to (p) shall be substituted with the following:
“(f) 433.05 - 434.79 MHz, duty cycle 10%, power up to 10
