Investment Services Act (Recognition of Collective Investment
Schemes) (Amendment) Regulations, 2003
IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 12 of the Investment Services Act, 1994, the Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs, acting on the advice of the Malta Financial Services Authority, has made the following regulations>-
1. (1) The title of these regulations is the Investment Services Act (Recognition of Collective Investment Schemes) (Amendment) Regulations, 2003, and shall be read and construed as one with the Investment Services Act (Recognition of Collective Investment Schemes) Regulations, 2002, hereinafter referred to as “the principal regulations”.

(2) These regulations shall come into force on the 1st August,

6 of the principal regulations.

2. In regulation 6 of the principal regulations, for the words “within a period of not less than six months from the date of coming into force thereof” there shall be substituted the words “by not later than the 31st August, 2003”.
