LOTTERIES AND OTHER GAMES ACT, 2001 (ACT NO. XXIV OF 2001)
National Lottery Regulations, 2004
IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 78 of the Lotteries and Other Games Act, 2001, the Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs has made the following regulations>–

Citation and commencement.

Interpretation.

Games forming part of

the National

Lottery.

1. (1) The title of these regulations is the National Lottery
Regulations, 2004
(2) These regulations shall come into force on the 16th
February, 2004.
2. Any reference in these regulations to the Act is a reference to the Lotteries and Other Games Act, 2001, and the provisions of article 2(1) of the Act shall also apply to these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires.
3. For the purposes of the definition of “National Lottery” in article 2(1) of the Act, the games which form part of the National Lottery shall be all those games specified in the National Lottery licence for the time being in force, and as may be amended from time to time as being authorized to be operated by the respective National Lottery licensee in accordance with the rules and procedures specified in such licence.
