President of Malta and other Officers
(Revision of Salaries) Order, 2005
IN exercise of the powers conferred by sections 2 and 3 of the President of Malta and other Officers (Salaries) Act, hereinafter referred to as “the Act”, the Prime Minister has made the following order>-
1. This order may be cited as the President of Malta and other Officers (Revision of Salaries) Order, 2005, and shall be deemed to have come into effect on the 1st January, 2005.
2. There shall be paid to the President of Malta, instead of the salary prescribed by section 2 of the Act, a salary of Lm18,931 with effect from 1st January 2005.
3. There shall be paid to the holder of the office specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto instead of the salary prescribed by section 3 of the Act, the annual salary respectively specified in the second column of that Schedule.
