PRODUCT SAFETY ACT (CAP. 427)
Type Approval of Agricultural or Forestry Tractors
(Amendment) Regulations, 2007
IN exercise of the powers conferred by articles 38 to 40 of the Product Safety Act, 2001, the Minister for Competitiveness and Communications,
on the advice of the Malta Standards Authority, has made the following regulations>–
1. (1) The title of these regulations is the Type Approval Agricultural or Forestry Tractors (Amendment) Regulations, 2007,
and they shall be read and construed as one with the Type Approval Agricultural or Forestry Tractors Regulations, 2005, hereinafter
referred to as “the principal regulations”.
(2) These regulations implement the requirements of Commission Directive 2006#26#EC of 2 March 2006 amending, for the purposes
of their adaptation to technical progress, Council Directives
74#151#EEC, 77#311#EEC, 78#933#EEC and 89#173#EEC relating to wheeled agricultural or forestry tractors.
