The Second (2004) Appropriation Act, 2004 (Act No. Xv Of 2004)

ACT No. XV of 2004

AN ACT to appropriate a sum not exceeding seventy-three million, one hundred and fifty-one thousand Maltese liri for the service of the financial year 2004.

BE IT ENACTED by the President, by and with the advice and consent of the House of Representatives, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows>—

Short title.

Appropriation 2004.

Further appropriation 2004 and transfer to Contingencies Fund.

1. This Act may be cited as the Second (2004) Appropriation
Act, 2004.
2. A sum not exceeding seventy-three million, one hundred and fifty thousand, nine hundred and ninety-eight Maltese liri to meet expenditure in respect of financial year 2004 under the Votes specified in the First Schedule to this Act shall be and the same is hereby charged upon the Consolidated Fund.
3. A further sum not exceeding two Maltese liri, to meet expenditure in respect of the financial year 2004 under the Votes specified in the Second Schedule to this Act shall be and the same is hereby charged upon the Consolidated Fund, provided that such sum shall be transferred to the Contingencies Fund in replacement of withdrawals made out of this Fund to cover the services detailed in regard to such Votes in the Supplementary Estimates of Expenditure for the financial year 2004.
