PART III - INDIVIDUAL LICENCE

Regulation 8. Procedure for processing individual licence application.

(1) The Commission shall complete processing the application for an individual licence and make a recommendation to the Minister within sixty days of receipt of all relevant information including such further information or other documents as may have been required by the Commission.

(1A) If any additional information or document required under subregulation (1) is not provided by the applicant within the time specified in the request or any extension of time granted by the Commission, the application shall be deemed to have been withdrawn and shall not be further proceeded with but it shall not affect the right of the applicant to make a fresh application.

(2) In processing the application, the Commission shall have the right to request the applicant to make such submissions as deemed necessary so as to enable the Commission to finalise its recommendation to the Minister.
