(1) The requirements of regulations 5, 6, 7 (1) , 8, 9, 11, 18 and 51 shall be formal requirements for the purposes of section 29 (1) of the Act.

(2) Where section 29 (2) of the Act applies, the Registrar shall notify the applicant of his findings and the applicant shall make any observation on such finding or any amendment to the application or both within three months from the date of mailing of the Registrars notification.
