PART IV- COMPULSORY LICENCES

Regulation 38. Application for compulsory licence.

(1) An application under section 49 and 49A of the Act shall be made to the Registrar on Form 11 together with the payment of the prescribed fee.

(2) For the purpose of section 49(2) of the Act, the reasonable period of time shall be six months from the initial efforts made to obtain authorization from the owner of the patent.
