Acquisition of land under the Land Acquisition Act for the Authority

39.
(1) Where any land, other than State land, is required for any of the purposes of the Authority and the Minister approves of the proposed acquisition, the land proposed to be acquired shall, for the purpose of the application of the Land Acquisition Act, be deemed to be required for a public purpose and may be acquired under that Act and transferred to the Authority.
(2) Any sum payable for the acquisition of land for the Authority under the Land Acquisition Act shall be paid by the Authority.
